Dr. Yang graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD. He then went on to complete his Residency/Specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard/Mass General Hospital. During this time he also attended Harvard Medical School and earned his MD. Prior to his clinical career, Dr. Yang earned his PhD in Biochemistry from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Before moving to the US, Dr. Yang graduated from Peking University (China) with majors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Economics.
Dr. Yang is a Board Certified Oral Surgeon, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Medical Society, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Massachusetts Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Yang was named a Top Dentist by Boston Magazine in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
